THE NEXT PHASE IS NOW UNDERWAY
Exciting progress continues throughout Pine Ridge. Guided by the recommendations in our recently completed USGA Agronomy Report and under the leadership of our new golf course superintendent, Kyle Stevens, we are beginning an important phase of coursewide improvements.
From aeration and seeding across the golf course to continued construction at the driving range and new landscaping around the clubhouse and putting green, our plans are steadily becoming visible throughout the property. We are also building the traditions and community that will define Pine Ridge for years to come—including the celebration of our inaugural Club Championship.

Pine Ridge recently celebrated an exciting milestone with its inaugural Club Championship. Congratulations to Adam Larkin, Men’s Championship Flight Champion; Mickie Vaden, Women’s Champion; Bob Volk, Senior Champion; Phil Fierro, Men’s Flight “A” Champion; and John Perratti, Senior Flight “A” Champion.
Thank you to everyone who competed, supported the players and joined us for the festivities. We look forward to building on this new Pine Ridge tradition for many years to come.

Improving the Golf Course
The transformation of Pine Ridge continues through a coordinated plan addressing course conditions, infrastructure, amenities and the overall member experience. The USGA Agronomy Report has now been received, and its recommendations are moving directly into implementation under the leadership of our new superintendent, Kyle Stevens.

Pine Ridge Is Already Changing
Since taking over Pine Ridge in July, we have been moving quickly to improve every part of the club, with particular focus now on the golf course itself. Irrigation repairs, turf restoration, range improvements and other important projects are underway, while the USGA has completed its on-site inspection and is preparing its evaluation and recommendations. The coming weeks will bring an extensive program of aeration, seeding, topdressing and hydroseeding designed to produce meaningful improvement this fall and lay the groundwork for an even better course in 2027. We appreciate the patience and support of the Pine Ridge community as this work continues.
IMPROVING THE GOLF COURSE
USGA Agronomy Review & Action Plan
Pine Ridge has received the comprehensive agronomy report prepared following the USGA’s visit to the property. The feedback was extremely positive and provides the club with expert recommendations and a clear, prioritized plan for improving course conditions as efficiently and effectively as possible.
With the evaluation and report now complete, Pine Ridge is moving immediately into implementation. The work beginning across the golf course reflects the USGA’s recommendations and will help guide both our near-term improvements and our longer-term goal of elevating the playing experience throughout the property.
The completed report represents an important turning point: Pine Ridge is moving forward with a professionally informed agronomic strategy that addresses the golf course as a whole.
New Golf Course Superintendent
Kyle Stevens has officially joined Pine Ridge as our new golf course superintendent and has already begun implementing a clear and organized plan for improving the golf course.
Kyle brings more than two decades of golf course operations and turf-management experience to Pine Ridge. His background includes leadership roles at Wheatley Hills Golf Club, Huntington Country Club, Knollwood Country Club and Fenway Golf Club. During his career, he has helped oversee golf course master plans, major green-complex restorations, irrigation and drainage projects, turf-management programs and the preparation of courses for both daily member play and tournament competition.
He earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Golf Course Superintendent Management and an Associate in Applied Science in Golf Course Operation from SUNY Delhi. Kyle also holds a New York commercial pesticide license and has been affiliated with both the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the Long Island Golf Course Superintendents Association.
Kyle’s agronomic knowledge, organizational ability and hands-on leadership approach are especially well suited to Pine Ridge at this important stage in the club’s transformation. Working with his team and guided by the recommendations in the USGA Agronomy Report, he will oversee the coordinated improvements needed to strengthen turf health, playing conditions and the overall golf experience.
Although meaningful turf improvements take time, Kyle’s arrival gives Pine Ridge the experienced and dedicated leadership needed to move the golf course forward with purpose and consistency.

Coursewide Aeration & Seeding
A major coursewide aeration and seeding program is beginning as part of Pine Ridge’s plan to improve turf health and playing conditions.Nine holes are scheduled to close on Wednesday, September 9, with the remaining nine scheduled to close on Thursday, September 10. During this two-day program, the Pine Ridge team will aerate and seed the golf course from tee to green and throughout the areas in between.
Completing this work during the fall growing season will give the new seed its best opportunity to germinate, establish strong roots and contribute to healthier turf. Some temporary disruption is unavoidable, but this work is a necessary investment in the long-term condition and playability of the golf course.
The program is one of the first visible steps in implementing the recommendations of the USGA Agronomy Report and the improvement plan being directed by Superintendent Kyle Stevens.
Irrigation Repairs
An outside irrigation contractor is now working alongside the Pine Ridge team to accelerate repairs throughout the course. Broken irrigation heads are being replaced, and irrigation is being added to nine green surrounds. Completing this work first is essential so that newly seeded and hydroseeded areas can be watered properly and consistently.
Aeration, Topdressing & Seeding
September 9–10 greens, tees and fairways; greens and tees top dressed; fairways dragged and blown clean; three pallets of seed distributed. Only nine holes will close each day and the course will remain open.
Hydroseeding
Range/practice green beginning August 24, followed by green surrounds later in September. Topsoil and irrigation preparation precede hydroseeding
Bunker Work
Bunker improvements will continue as part of the golf course team's ongoing daily maintenance program.
The Driving Range Is Moving Forward
Driving Range Transformation
Important progress is being made at the Pine Ridge driving range. The range has now been seeded, and new grass is already beginning to emerge.
Together, the improved turf, new range cover and interactive InRange technology will create an entirely new practice and entertainment experience at Pine Ridge.
The newly completed concrete platform prepares the Pine Ridge Driving Range for installation of its new covered hitting bays and InRange technology.
New Computerized Ball Dispenser
A computerized driving range ball dispenser is scheduled to be installed during the second week of August.
The new system will make purchasing and receiving range balls faster and more convenient while integrating with the inrange technology planned for the facility.
GOLF ACADEMY
Golf Instruction Has Arrived at Pine Ridge
Golf Channel Academy with Kelley Brooke has officially launched junior and adult instructional programs at Pine Ridge.
Programs include the new Evening Eagles junior program, adult clinics and supervised practice sessions. Golfers of different ages, abilities and experience levels can now receive professional instruction directly at the club.

Pine Ridge Restaurant Now Open
Renovations to the Pine Ridge Restaurant are complete, and the newly refreshed restaurant is now open.
Guests can enjoy the updated dining space, a new menu and a welcoming place to relax before or after a round. The opening marks another important step in the continued improvements taking place throughout Pine Ridge.

Founders Club Members Patio — Now Open
The new Founders Club Members Patio is now open for the exclusive use of Pine Ridge Founders Club Members.
The newly furnished outdoor space provides members with a comfortable place to relax, gather and enjoy the surroundings at Pine Ridge.
New Landscaping
New landscaping has now been completed around the clubhouse, with new flowers, plantings and refreshed beds creating a more welcoming arrival for members and guests. It is another visible improvement helping to enhance the overall look and feel of Pine Ridge.
NEW TECHNOLOGY ENHANCING THE GOLF EXPERIENCE
New Golf Cart GPS Technology — Installed
GPS technology has now been installed in the Pine Ridge golf cart fleet, giving golfers helpful on-course information right from their cart. The new systems are part of the continuing technology upgrades at Pine Ridge and will also support additional on-course services being introduced for golfers.
Robotic On-Course Delivery — Now in Service
Pine Ridge's new robotic delivery units are now ready to serve golfers on the course.
With the course mapped and the new golf cart GPS technology in place, the robots can deliver food and refreshments directly to golfers on the course, helping them enjoy added convenience without significantly interrupting their round.
This is another example of the new technology and amenities being introduced to enhance the Pine Ridge golf experience.
Halfway House Improvements
The halfway house bathrooms are substantially complete, with only minor painting and finishing work remaining.
Automatic keypad locks will be installed, with access codes displayed conveniently through the GPS screens on the golf carts.

2027 Membership Outreach
Pine Ridge recently completed an important outreach effort for a limited release of 50 memberships for the 2027 season.
Over the past several weeks, the club built a list of prospective members who had expressed interest in becoming part of Pine Ridge. Kelley Brooke subsequently provided those prospects with a complete membership package so they could review the opportunity and make an informed decision.
Founding Members were also invited to share the news with friends who may be interested in joining the Pine Ridge community. The strong interest generated by this initiative reflects the growing excitement surrounding the club and the improvements now taking place throughout the property.
The release was conducted on a limited, first-come, first-served basis as Pine Ridge thoughtfully builds its membership for the 2027 season.

While this work continues, golfers are asked to remain on cart paths near greens and tee boxes and to avoid driving through sensitive turf areas.
The Pine Ridge team is investing considerable time, effort and resources into restoring course conditions. The cooperation of every golfer will help protect that progress and allow the improvements to take hold.
