WOW. All I can say is wow after seeing Tiger come so close to winning at the Valspar Championship. Tiger impressed me for sure – his swing was strong and fluid, his tempo was on point, and his short game was solid. To see Tiger contend before the Masters is a great sign and the Masters this year just got a lot more interesting. I had previously written about Tiger’s potential in 2018 and said that he knows how to beat Augusta better than anybody else. After this performance we should all be excited because we know that Tiger is really close to completing his comeback and getting a victory again on the PGA Tour. He looked a little rusty yesterday – he hadn’t competed on a Sunday in a long time, so I can’t blame him. Now that he has some Sunday experience in him, his next few tournaments including the Masters should be a blast. That 40 foot putt he nailed on 17 yesterday could be the clinching putt on 18 at Augusta, but don’t quote me on that.
